Three county bar associations in New Jersey have filed a lawsuit against New Jersey and the state Supreme Court challenging a 2014 measure that increased filing fees in the state courts by more than $42 million.

The lawsuit was filed on Oct. 19 by the Bergen, Passaic and Middlesex county bar associations. The lawsuit names New Jersey and the state Supreme Court as defendants.
