Carroll McNulty & Kull LLC (CMK) has promoted two associates to partner. Shaun Blick and Blake Palmer are both located in the firm’s Basking Ridge office. Blick is a trial attorney with experience handling transactional matters. Blick’s clients include corporations and institutions of all sizes, financial organizations, and individuals. He is a graduate of Rutgers School of Law–Newark, and earned his B.A. in broadcasting, telecommunications and mass media from Temple University, where he graduated with honors. Palmer has experience litigating insurance coverage disputes, having represented insurance companies in state and federal courts across the country. He has litigated disputes involving environmental, construction defect, toxic tort, professional liability, property, automobile, employment, bodily injury and bad faith issues. He is a graduate of Roger Williams University School of Law, and also obtained a B.A. in political science from the University of Rhode Island.

Chief Counsel to NJ AG Joins Kelley Drye

Jeffrey Jacobson, former chief counsel to the New Jersey attorney general, has joined Kelley Drye as a partner. He will work out of the firm’s New York and Parsippany offices. Jacobson served at the highest level of the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, first as director of the New Jersey Division of Law and then as chief counsel to the attorney general. During his 2014-16 tenure, he oversaw law enforcement investigations involving consumer protection and data privacy, chaired the Attorney General’s Cyber Working Group and personally handled some of the state’s highest-profile cases in state and federal court. Previously, Jacobson was a partner at Debevoise & Plimpton, where he focused on consumer fraud, privacy and securities litigation, and on the electronic discovery challenges presented by complex litigation and investigative matters.
