Virtual Reality—An Italian flooring company has filed a complaint in New Jersey federal court against Sony, seeking millions of dollars in damages amid claims the electronics giant used its logo in a series of car-racing video games without permission.

VIRAG, headquartered in Milan, accuses San Mateo, Calif.-based Sony, as well as its subsidiary, Sony Computer Entertainment, of illegally using the VIRAG logo in the fifth and sixth editions of the “Gran Turismo” racing game, available on Sony’s PlayStation and released in 2010 and 2013, respectively.
