A former New Jersey Department of Corrections officer has received $1.4 million in Erricson v. Road Link as compensation for injuries he sustained when he swerved to avoid remnants of a tractor trailer tire blowout.
Plaintiff Ronnie Erricson, now 46, of Vineland, N.J., received the last of the settlement proceeds from the second of two defendants, Road Link USA National LLC of Jacksonville, Fla., on July 8, his attorney, Thomas Smith, said.
