Three years after bringing a constitutional challenge to New Jersey’s ban on law firm ownership by nonattorneys, Jacoby & Meyers has voluntarily dismissed its case.
The firm, known for its television commercials, voluntarily dismissed its suit without prejudice on July 28 after declining to follow a federal judge’s instruction to bring the issue before a committee of the New Jersey Supreme Court.
