The Judiciary maintains charge accounts opened by attorneys, law firms and information brokers for the purpose of charging filing fees or other fees in lieu of paying by check, cash or money order. The system that manages these accounts is called the Judiciary Account Charge System (JACS).

As part of the continuing efforts to improve customer service, the Judiciary has created a web-based self-service application that will enable JACS account holders to manage those accounts online. The following functions will be available in this self-service application: opening and closing accounts, viewing account balances, viewing and printing statements and transaction histories,??funding accounts via the ACH (Automated Clearinghouse), and maintaining and updating accounts. A further benefit will be the discontinuance of the mailing of hardcopy account statements.
