The state Senate on Monday approved the appointments of Russell Cherkos and Salvatore Martino as workers’ compensation judges, the same day the Senate Judiciary Committee cleared them.
Cherkos, a Republican, is with Dasti, Murphy, McGucken, Ulaky, Cherkos & Connors in Forked River, where he concentrates in real estate, land-use regulation, municipal law, civil litigation and wills. One of the partners at his firm is Sen. Christopher Connors, R-Ocean.
