A crane operator allegedly injured in a construction accident accepted $1.075 million on Sept. 28 to settle his Gloucester County suit, Moore v. SICA Industries Inc.

On Nov. 9, 2007, while hoisting a piece of the porch for a two-story modular residence in Seaside Park, Derrick Moore got out of his cab to move a ladder and was hit in the back of the head by a 30- to 40-pound roll of tar paper that fell off the roof, the suit alleged.
