The New Jersey press corps is in court trying to upend the state’s prohibition on interviewing and photographing voters within 100 feet of the polls.

The restriction violates the media’s First Amendment rights to gather and report information about the upcoming presidential election, according to the suit, New Jersey Press Association v. Guadagno, 12-cv-6353, filed Tuesday.
