The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit has upheld dismissal of whistleblower claims lodged against a company by its former general counsel.

The court found that because Rodney Repko’s allegations of fraud were first stated in a plea deal made after his theft of nearly $2 million from the company, he cannot be regarded as an “original source” for the purpose of the case.
