An Elizabeth woman allegedly injured in a collision on the New Jersey Turnpike accepted $2.75 million on July 22 to settle her Middlesex County suit, Oberg v. Gardner.

On Oct. 26, 2006, Esterlina Oberg was driving north in a cars-only lane near Jamesburg when a tractor-trailer moved into the lane and struck her car from behind, causing it to carom into a guardrail, says her lawyer, Michael Gallardo of Newark’s Ginarte, O’Dwyer, Gonzalez, Gallardo & Winograd.
