This appeal concerns the applicability of the statutory affidavit of merit requirement, N.J.S.A. 2A:53A-26 to -29, to a malpractice action that plaintiff Shamrock Lacrosse Inc., a New Jersey company, brought against two law firms: Klehr, Harrison, Harvey, Branz-burg & Ellers and Obermeyer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel. Although the firms are principally located in Pennsylvania, each has a bona fide office in this state and one or more partners and associates admitted to the New Jersey bar.
