A real estate broker who slipped on a wet restroom floor accepted $1.5 million on Nov. 5 to settle her Morris County suit, Lipkin v. American Building Cleaners t/a Americorp.

The accident happened on Nov. 14, 2006, when Madeline Lipkin, then 62, an employee of The Weichert Corp., was teaching a class at its Morris Plains headquarters. She claimed there was no warning of the wet floor, but janitorial contractor Americorp of Parsippany said a bucket, mop and cleaning supplies cart were outside the door.
