01-2-2386 Anstiss v. Dep’t of Community Affairs, Office of Regulatory Affairs , App. Div. (per curiam) (6 pp.) Where, knowing of prior serious problems with a particular building project, appellant appointed a subordinate to act in his place while he was out of the office and merely instructed him that he could issue temporary certificates of occupancy for the project if payment was made, and appellant made no effort to ensure that the necessary inspections had been conducted before so advising his subordinate, the evidence was sufficient to sustain the revocation of his license as a construction official based on incompetence, a failure to enforce the Uniform Construction Code, and a total disregard of the duties of his position.
