The Board of Education for the Borough of Emerson sued Berkley Insurance, Selective Insurance, Askari Construction and GL Group on April 25 in New Jersey Superior Court for Bergen County. The lawsuit, filed by attorney John L. Schettino, contends that Askari’s construction work on an Emerson high school expansion project was incomplete and contained defects. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is BERL002155-23, Emerson Board Of Edu Cation Vs Askari Constructi.
