Porzio Compliance Services LLC, a subsidiary of Morristown law firm Porzio Bromberg & Newman, announced that Yasmin E. Hernández-Manno joined as director of education compliance. She is part of a team of educators who complement the work of the education law team at the Porzio law firm. She previously was executive county superintendent of schools in Mercer, Burlington, and Middlesex counties, and was the only Hispanic female serving in this capacity for the New Jersey Department of Education, according to the announcement. Hernández-Manno has focused on multilingual and multicultural learning, and has more than 30 years’ experience as an educator, administrator and consultant, the firm said.
