Danielle Corcione, a partner and government and corporate investigations practice group leader at Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi in West Orange, was elected to a two-year term on the firm’s executive committee as of Jan 1. She is the youngest lawyer at the firm ever to be elected to the committee, according to an announcement. ”I’m thrilled to join the executive committee at this exciting time in the firm’s history,” said Corcione. “As a firm that values its people and thrives on collaboration, I look forward to bringing a fresh perspective that underscores these values and supports the outstanding culture that makes CSG Law such an incredible place to work.” She is a member of the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion committee and women’s initiative, and a former management committee member. In her practice, she handles white-collar criminal defense, internal investigations, and complex civil litigation. Corcione is a former assistant U.S. attorney in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey. Name partner Jeffrey Chiesa said in a statement that Corcione ”will put these skills to further use helping to chart the course for our future.” Managing partner Patricia Costello added the she “will help to continue our trajectory with an eye toward building and creating opportunities for the next generation of leaders of the firm.”
