What do you see as your signature successes or career-defining accomplishments?

I was previously elected the first African-American partner, male or female, at a medium-sized law firm that was founded in 1936. As a non-profit Chief Operating Officer, I quickly learned a completely different skill set that included operational oversight of fiscal, programming, personnel, and fund development issues, and management of over 150 employees. I’m tremendously honored to currently represent the United States in national security work. Being recognized by the New Jersey Law Journal is definitely a highlight!
