S-21, the 216-page Cannabis Regulatory, Enforcement Assistance, & Marketplace Modernization Act introduced on Nov. 6 to provide the regulatory framework and set licensing guidelines for New Jersey’s new cannabis industry, passed the Senate Judiciary Committee on Monday.

But  three days later, it was pulled from consideration by the appropriations committees of both houses to further work on the 216-page bill’s details, according to the Senate Majority Office.
