The New Jersey State Bar Association’s General Council is seeking candidates who want to be considered for a spot on the group that helps review and select leadership candidates for the association.

Anyone who wants to be considered for a two-year term on the association’s Nominating Committee must file a petition signed by no fewer than 10 members of the council. Petitions are due Sept. 13. Candidates from Mercer County are not permitted this year. Information about candidates, including video statements and biographical information, will be posted online when the filing deadline passes.
