A New Jersey appeals court has ruled that Gov. Chris Christie does not have to turn over correspondence with a nonprofit group that assisted with his unsuccessful presidential bid.
A two-judge Appellate Division panel said the document request, filed under the state’s Open Public Records Act, was overly broad and did not specify the nature of the correspondence sought.
