Two suspended judges who are facing removal from their seats will have their chance in September to argue before the New York Court of Appeals that they should stay on the bench.

The high court is scheduled to hear arguments on Sept. 5 from Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio, who was convicted of driving while intoxicated and was suspended in April after she was arrested for allegedly trying to make an illegal firearms purchase from a sporting goods store.
