THIS YEAR’s public interest fellows at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson have been selected to begin duties in September. Chosen for the unique four-year fellowships were David Urias and Olga Akselrod.

Mr. Urias graduated last year from the University of New Mexico School of Law, then clerked at the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. After two years of working at Fried Frank, at a first-year associate salary, Mr. Urias will then become a staff attorney for the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund. He will draw the prevailing MALDEF salary at that time, underwritten by Fried Frank.
