ESTATE OF VASILIKI STASINOPOULOS, Deceased (16/106/B) — This is a proceeding to determine the validity of the notice of election filed by the decedent’s husband Paris Stasinopoulos (hereinafter “Petitioner”). Petitioner seeks that the amount of said elective share be determined in a final accounting proceeding.

The decedent died testate on January 3, 2016, survived by Petitioner and two daughters. Within her will, the decedent made limited provision for Petitioner. All interested parties entered into a written Stipulation, filed with this Court on March 30, 2017, pursuant to which it was agreed that the decedent’s Last Will and Testament dated November 14, 2015 be admitted to probate, and that Letters Testamentary issue to the decedent’s two daughters. Also pursuant to the Stipulation, it was agreed that Petitioner is entitled to an elective share of the decedent’s Estate and the decedent’s daughters would not oppose or contest Petitioner’s exercise of said right of election pursuant to EPTL §5-1.1-A.
