The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit once again remanded an ongoing case back to the Southern District. This time, it said the district court erred in its denial of a class claim as part of a default judgment against investors in the energy company China North Securities.

Judges Peter Hall, Gerard Lynch, and Christopher Droney vacated the default judgment by Southern District Judge Katherine Forrest in Rosado v. China North East Petroleum Holdings Limited, 1:10-cv-04577.
