Communiqués between the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and its star witness in the second fraud case against two former Dewey & LeBoeuf executives are “much ado about nothing,” a judge said Tuesday after denying the prosecution’s motion to block release of the materials.

Acting Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Robert Stolz‘s ruling ended a short detour in the second fraud case against Stephen DiCarmine, Dewey’s former executive director, and former financial chief financial officer Joel Sanders, which went to trial earlier this month.
