A former Missouri state judge has been appointed mediator in the action against race car driver Tony Stewart for causing the 2014 death of a fellow racer at a dirt track in upstate New York.

The parties agreed to the appointment of Glenn Norton, a former judge on the Missouri Court of Appeals, in the wrongful death case of Ward v. Stewart, 7:15-cv-01023.
