A state appeals court disbarred two lawyers on Thursday, including David Boden, who in 2014 pleaded guilty to federal wire fraud for his involvement in a Florida-based Ponzi scheme.

In a unanimous opinion, an Appellate Division, First Department, panel decided Boden should be disbarred because the crime leading to his conviction would have constituted a felony under New York Penal Law had he been charged here.
