In a Dec. 16 Outside Counsel article, “Reducing Sanctions Risk: Complying Without Over-Complying,” a sentence was incomplete, in referring to sanctions regimes against Russia. It should have said:

The United States maintains a comprehensive sanctions regime against Cuba, while the EU has enacted anti-boycott against exactly these rules. On the other hand the U.S. and EU sanctions regimes against Russia are very aligned; however, the devil lies in the details.
