A criminal defense attorney and a paralegal who were convicted of bribing a New York City Criminal Justice Agency employee to steer potential clients to them were each given prison sentences of three to nine years on Wednesday.

Attorney Benjamin Yu, 38, and Jose Nuñez, 49, a paralegal who was working for Yu, were convicted in May of second-degree bribery, fourth-degree conspiracy and 13 counts of second-degree rewarding official misconduct.
