Unaired portions of a jailhouse interview a Bronx cable news channel conducted with a murder suspect are not protected from disclosure to prosecutors by New York state’s Shield Law, an appeals court determined Tuesday.

The Appellate Division, First Department panel unanimously agreed that the Bronx District Attorney’s Office may review the materials under subpoena—as long as they are limited to any comments that suspect Nasean Bonie made about killing Ramona Moore, about their relationship and any impressions and observations he made about her.
