A man who said he hurt his knee when landing on a defective basketball court floorboard can proceed with his lawsuit, a judge decided.
Nassau County Supreme Court Justice Jeffrey Brown rejected LA Fitness’ summary judgment motion, saying faulty floorboards are “not part of the ‘usual dangers that are inherent in the sport’ of basketball.”
