A federal judge publicly reprimanded two plaintiffs attorneys in a case that has been marred by numerous missed scheduling orders and the reported death of an attorney’s mother that turned out to be inaccurate.

Eastern District Judge Allyne Ross sanctioned John Nonnenmacher, retained as trial counsel, and Jason Leventhal of the Leventhal Law Group in Brooklyn “unhappily but without reservation” on Monday.
