Dewey & LeBoeuf’s director of billing testified Monday that former chief financial officer Joel Sanders and the former finance director instructed her to create client invoices to boost the firm’s revenue, even though there was no expectation the invoices would be collected.

After a week’s break in the trial, billing director Lourdes Rodriguez returned to court Monday as a prosecution witness against Sanders, ex-chairman Steven Davis and former executive director Stephen DiCarmine. The jury did not sit three days last week due to a juror’s illness.
