The New York State Bar Association has announced the makeup of a 25-member committee that will study whether New Yorkers should authorize a statewide convention in 2017 to consider changing the state Constitution.

The Committee on the New York State Constitution is one of the main initiatives that State Bar President David Miranda, a partner at Heslin Rothenberg Farley & Mesiti in Albany, said he will make in his one-year term heading the group (NYLJ, June 2).
