Neither state nor federal statutes give Facebook standing to challenge search warrants directing the social media giant to produce data for 381 account holders, the Appellate Division, First Department, said Tuesday.

In a unanimous 24-page ruling by Justice Dianne Renwick, the panel rejected Facebook’s challenge to Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance’s warrants demanding the social network turn over records on users who were suspects in a Social Security disability fraud ring.
