A Brooklyn judge has ruled that there was nothing to prevent developers from building a hotel and condominium complex that, once completed, will partially obscure views of the Brooklyn Bridge.

In his June 10 ruling in Save the View Now v. Brooklyn Bridge Park Corporation, 504785/15, Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Lawrence Knipel said the Pierhouse development falls within established height restrictions and that opponents were time-barred from filing suit.
