Schulte Roth & Zabel partner Barry Bohrer has been elected the new board chairman of the Fund for Modern Courts and the Committee for Modern Courts, closely affiliated Manhattan-based groups that advocate for diversity of the judiciary, increased merit selection for judges, and other court-related reforms.

Bohrer will succeed Milton Williams Jr., a partner at Vladeck, Waldman, Elias & Engelhard, who has been chair of the groups since June 2011.
