Fed up with massive pleadings filled with irrelevance and redundancy, a federal judge has ordered the lawyers in a franchise dispute to scale their offerings way back.

Southern District Judge William Pauley said he was met with “behemoth” pleadings in a case between United Parcel Service and one of its franchise holders in New York and he has tried, without success, “to end the madness.”
