A Long Island attorney who was among six attorneys sentenced in federal court in 2013 for their involvement with a mortgage fraud scheme was disbarred on Wednesday.
New York lawyers are automatically disbarred upon a conviction of a state felony or of a felony in another jurisdiction that is equivalent to a New York offense.
