Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman has obtained a $2.7 million judgment against hedge fund manager Alphonse “Buddy” Fletcher, after the law firm sued him for unpaid legal fees.

The $2.7 million includes about $2.3 million for the amount that Kasowitz claimed was unpaid and an additional $442,678 in interest. Kasowitz had represented Fletcher and his company, Fletcher Asset Management (FAM), in a discrimination suit against The Dakota, in Fletcher v. Dakota, 101289/2011.
