Mark Mulholland has been appointed to represent Ira Warshawsky in his role as receiver to Napoli Bern Ripka Shkolnik, a personal injury law firm whose founding partners are locked in litigation with one another.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Eileen Bransten (See Profile) on Nov. 17 appointed Warshawsky as receiver to oversee firm finances for the Napoli Bern law firm and 10 other related firms, after partners Paul Napoli and Marc Bern filed breach of contract claims against one another (NYLJ, Nov. 19). Warshawsky, a former Nassau County Supreme Court justice who is now of counsel at Meyer Suozzi, English & Klein, has the power to receive and collect funds generated by the partnership in order to preserve assets.
