The Administrative Board of the Courts began inviting public comment Tuesday on the 35 state Supreme Court justices who are seeking certification or recertification for new two-year terms beginning Jan. 1.

The recertification process allows Supreme Court justices to stay on the bench for up to three, two-year terms past the end of the year in which they reach the retirement age for the state judiciary of 70.
