A disbarred Long Island attorney has admitted he lied to federal investigators who were probing a foreclosure rescue scam.

Barry Stephen Zornberg of Hauppauge pleaded guilty before Eastern District Magistrate Judge William Wall Wednesday to making a materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation, and agreed to pay $1.26 million to 10 families victimized in the scheme.
