• Outdoor advertising company Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings named Craig Gangi as executive vice president and general counsel for its business in the U.S. and Canada. He joins Clear Channel Outdoor from Omnicom Group, where he was general counsel of Omnicom Media Group.

Robert Kafin, an environmental partner at Proskauer Rose and the firm’s former chief operating partner and general counsel, has been elected as chair of the Times Square Alliance. The alliance provides neighborhood services and promotes local businesses, encourages economic development and helps to coordinate major events in Times Square.

Andrew Chapin, Fordham Law School’s director of Public interest Scholars and Counseling, was voted a director on the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) board of directors. NALP provides advice from legal career professionals to law students, lawyers, law firms and law schools.

Michael Solomita has joined Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton as a partner in the firm’s intellectual property practice. Solomita joins from Amster, Rothstein & Ebenstein.

Littleton Joyce Ughetta Park & Kelly has added Dennis Dozis as a partner in the firm’s appellate and construction practices. Dozis previously practiced at Kaufman, Borgeest & Ryan.

Robert Gold has joined Mishcon de Reya as a partner and head of the complex civil litigation group in New York. He previously practiced at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Additionally, the firm named Mark Raskin as managing partner of the New York office. Raskin will continue to head the patent litigation group in New York. He replaces James McGuire, who is no longer at the firm.
