A judge has determined that a woman is entitled to 30 percent of the value of the hedge fund her husband created during their marriage—less than the 50 percent she sought but more than the 5 percent he said she deserved.

The $2.4 million share of GS Gamma Investments for Amanda Ann Crider Sykes was one of the last outstanding issues in Sykes v. Sykes, 313085/2010, a legal battle that George and Amanda Sykes waged for nearly four years, with 16 trial days and an “intercontinental” custody dispute that was decided in a French court.
