A federal judge has dismissed the hostile workplace, retaliation and sexual harassment suit brought by a female firefighter who said she was sexually assaulted by a male colleague.

Northern District Judge Frederick Scullin Jr. (See Profile) also rejected Julianne Burns’ claim that attorneys in the Utica Corporation Counsel’s office conspired to have Burns’ alleged attacker reinstated to the Utica fire department after a five-and-a-half month suspension with pay.
