Kenneth Thompson has been endorsed by fellow Democrat U.S. Senator Charles Schumer. Thompson won the Democratic nomination in last month’s primary, but incumbent Charles Hynes has vowed to continue campaigning on the Republican and Conservative lines.
Schumer and Thompson, a former Eastern District prosecutor and founding partner of Thompson Wigdor, appeared together Monday at Brooklyn Borough Hall to announce the senator’s backing.
