Circuit Rejects Journalists' Challenge to Detention Law
JOURNALISTS lack standing to challenge a federal law allowing for the indefinite detention of people who "substantially supported" al Qaida, the Taliban or forces associated with the two groups, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit held Wednesday.
