Bally Technologies Inc. is placing a big bet on the casino game market.
Bally Technologies Inc., which makes slot machines and other casino games, said Tuesday it has agreed to pay $1.3 billion to acquire rival SHFL Entertainment Inc. Also, two years after its failed bid to acquire T-Mobile USA, AT&T has now proposed a $1.19 billion cash buy of Leap Wireless.
